A passion for travel, people and learning has led Marita’s career from that of second level teacher through various management and training positions in the Middle East.
A change orientated professional she has over 24 years experience in business leadership roles, management consultancy and human capital development within an industry renowned for premium customer service.
Due to the collaborative nature of her various roles she has been involved with many diverse project launches, managed large-scale project implementation and has a strong working knowledge of brand management in large organizations. She has extensive people management and development experience, and brings much practical insight to her training
Her strengths lie in her ability to communicate with people, building relationships that create positive learning experiences. She has a unique ability to influence action from learning; ensuring learning is transferred to the workplace. Her cross-cultural experience is invaluable in delivering training and across the region.
Marita’s varied background enables her to operate successfully in the fields of training, development, coaching, and selection assessment. She holds a Bachelor of Education, and is a City and Guilds certified trainer. She has professional qualifications in Business Coaching, Assessment and Selection techniques, Project Management and is an Internal Quality Auditor. Within aviation she has a specific interest in Human Factors, holding certificates in Human Factors in Aviation, and has worked closely with members of the European Association for Aviation Psychology in promoting Human Factors training in the MENA region.
